Professional English certification
Step in detail
A step built through practice
A situated certification
The score of 920/990 obtained on August 7, 2025 provides a clear measure of my professional English comprehension: C1 in listening and B2 in reading. The public certificate makes it possible to verify the date, score, and reported levels directly.
A skill that supports technical work
This certification complements a career in which documentation, tickets, discussions with technical profiles, and research can extend beyond French. It does not replace the ability to reformulate a request, but it improves access to sources and communication in an international software context.
Reading to decide and keep learning
In software development, English is useful when consulting official documentation, comparing release notes, understanding an issue, or following a technical resource that does not yet exist in French. The score is therefore a useful comprehension marker, but its value is demonstrated in practice: cross-check a source against the project context, distinguish a recommendation from a constraint, then restate the information so that someone who has not read it can use it.
What this certification does not claim to measure
TOEIC Listening and Reading certifies listening and reading levels; it does not measure speaking, negotiation quality, or the ability to solve a technical problem independently. I therefore present it as focused evidence that complements case studies and professional communication, not as a substitute for international experience. This precision avoids overinterpreting a score while making a real asset for research and documentation work visible.
Learning context
The TOEIC measures English comprehension in international professional situations. The public certificate lets reviewers verify the date, overall score, and achieved levels directly.
