Step in detail
A step built through practice
A first experience in a client context
This two-month internship at A. Gaveau was my first professional web-development setting. The context was concrete: create websites for small shops with WordPress and Elementor while working with real content and a clear presentation goal.
Learning to deliver a usable interface
The work introduced me to page construction, content organization, and the adjustments needed for a website to be usable by its recipient. This first experience gave a professional setting to skills learned independently and prepared the next step toward more customized applications.
Moving from training material to an expected result
This first professional setting required me to move beyond exercises where content, audience, and outcome are often already defined. Websites had to present an activity with understandable information and a hierarchy that helped a visitor orient themselves. I learned to check what was actually available, organize the supplied elements, and adjust a page for its use instead of treating layout as an end in itself.
A starting point, not expertise I claim
The internship was short and relied on WordPress and Elementor: on its own, it does not demonstrate full mastery of custom development, accessibility, or project leadership. Its value in the journey is different. It provided a first benchmark for responsibility toward a delivery visible to a client and prepared the education and projects through which I later deepened design, data, testing, and custom applications.
A stated evidence limitation
This two-month internship took place several years ago. I no longer have access to the projects completed then or to the material needed to present them accurately, completely, and with authorization. I therefore choose not to create an artificial retrospective link to a current achievement: this page documents the context, my responsibilities, and what this first experience contributed to my journey, without claiming project evidence that I can no longer verify.
